I haven't worked with this one much yet, but my trainer also showed me how to put them on a 30 ft. leash and have them walk around in the front yard. When they get near the road, you give a slight tug (easy jerk) on the leash and say "NO, BACK IN THE YARD!" in a loud comanding voice. Each time they get to the border of your yard, you do this and they will eventually stay inside the boundries of your yard. You can also work with come in this manner and praise them when they come to you. But honestly, things have been so hectic for me that I am sorry to say that I have not worked on this as I should.
