Mine fell off the dinning room table just this morning. Actually, he didn't fall. He slowly slid off - back legs first. But, because he is about 8 pounds, his little hind legs were only about 8 inches off the floor before he actually was completely off the table.

Nevertheless, this scared me. But, he fell somewhat on hs feet and butt and then more or less just rolled over. And - he was perfectly fine and was off playing and running around immediately.

My dining room table is often a work area for me - I live alone and it's rarely used to eat on. Plus - it has a laminated, wood-grain type finish that has been scrubbed a million times. So, I have never thought much about putting him up there occasonally to visit with me. But this, time he just got behind a stack of papers, didn't have enough room and apparently lost his balance, and off he slid.

Can't be too careful - can we?
