We live in a townhome and we are not allowed to have a fence. I don't understand the problem? Loki goes out on a leash... we have a 26 foot flexi leash (retractable) and he goes out to the yard while I stand on the porch (or huddle inside the door when it's cold) and he does his thing and comes right back. Since you live in Florida, you don't even have to deal with the cold. All of our neighbors have dogs and this is how all of us do it, either using flexis, tie outs (for the bigger dogs and they don't stay out more than a few minutes) or they just walk their dogs on a regular leash. We spend a lot of time outside talking to our neighbors while our dogs sniff around in the yard, it's great! |
