This is from last night
I was playing ball with Mickey and Minnie and Minnie ran to get the ball on her way back I noticed her holding her back leg up. I lifted her up and blood started pouring out, she ripped it all the way to the top of her foot. its broke on both sides but still attached in the middle inside of the nail. I got the bleeding to stop and called the emergency vet hospital. The vet there was out delivering a baby horse and the lady called him... he said to wrap it tonight and bring her in first thing in the morning. So I called another emergency vet and they gave me the vets home phone he said the same thing wrap it and bring her in in the morning. I feel so bad for her.she was fine untill she smelled the blood then her little body started shaking and so did Mickey. they both tried to lick at it. Me and my daughter cleaned it and put neosporin on it and wrapped it. shes laying under my desk right now. They said thay would take it off in the morning.I wish they would do it to night.I think she might of got it caught on the floor vent, because she did run up to it to get her ball.

Heres an update.
Well Me and Hubby took Minnie in to the vets. He asked what foot it was and he was done, that fast. It was so broke he just pulled it off. He then had to use a surgical burning pen to seal it. She was such a brave girl. when we first got there she got the shakes real bad because of all the big dogs there. but I held her tight and she soon stoped shaking. I told the vet about all Minnies heats and whats been happening with them , He ran a few test that showed she was in heat and he said if I wanted puppies , to let them breed in the next two days.he said what she is having is a split heat. some one had told me about split heats the other day. and well she was right. so im so glad all went well with the nail. when we got home Mickey and Minnie played in the yard awhile , now they are ready to take a nap.
