Bread products!!!!! - especially not completely or well baked - could cause problems.

My mother put some covered dough out in the garage (a hundred years ago) to rise. A little neighborhood puppy came over and got into it and then went home.

The neighbor noticed that her puppy was in distress, but had no clue what might be wrong. She did take it to the vet - but it was too late and the poor little puppy died. The dough had gotten into its warm little tummy and quickly doubled or tripled in size.

I think this is a heartbreaking story.

I know that even I feel - oh, so bloated - and so full - if I eat a lot of bread
--- those "huge sandwiches," donuts, a lot of pizza, etc.

So a lot of bread-type foods might not be the best thing for a little dog or pup. I'm sure though that a little bread won't hurt them at all.
