You can buy a soap formula insecticide for aphids at Home Depot or Lowe's. It doesn't hurt the plant. Or you can make your own by mixing a little Ivory dish detergent, water and spraying the plant. I use that on hibisics (sp) and it works well. You want to kill the aphids because they will eventually kill the plant because the leaves fall off. My dad use to put severn dust on his roses....not very pretty but it works.
