There are no test that can be done this early to detect if they are pregnant. As for the change in their nipples, I know that is not uncommon for a dog around the time of their heat even if they are not pregnant, then again, that was the first sign we got when Trixie was expecting. I feel like if they were in heat, especially if you were watching for it, you would have been able to tell.
