This is the new baby I'm getting in a few more days, I emailed the breeder to see if she would start taping the ears so they might be standing up when we get her. This is what she wrote.
"I actually tried taping her ears, but my other dogs were so obsessed with trying to pull it off I gave up because I did not want her to get hurt by the dogs pulling at her ears all the time. Mom's ears stand up, but dad's do not. I asked the vet about it and she said some yorkie's ears stand up and some don't ever stand up. She also said that if they are going to stand up they would do it on their own they wouldn't need taped, but who knows."
I don't really want floppy ears but my husband is excited, he doesn't like pointy ears. Will taping make any ear stand up, or just some???
