is there such thing as being too alert? bunjee is starting to wake up and bark at the door every time he remotely hears any noise outside the door, especially at night. i live in a condo and there's 12 other units on the same floor, so anytime someone walks by, opens their door, the elevator opens...there he goes running for the door. when i tell him "no bark" or "quiet" half the time he'll tone down to a low bark and come back to bed, but half the time, i have to get up and get him before the neighbors complain. which really sucked last week since i was really sick and hardly had to energy to tell him to be quiet much less to get up and get him.

so my question is, how do i get him to be "less alert"? or at least not be so loud in his efforts to alert me?
