 First trip to the groomer
So, I decided Bailey needed a trip to the groomer, he was pretty stinky as he hadn't been bathed in a while (due to nutering), he had some mats on his hind leg that he wouldn't let me get at and his nails needed to be done. I called different groomers, and chose the one i thought would be best for him. We dropped him off for a 4 hour stay...and came back , she was just starting to trim him (I had asked for a bath and tidy) ...So she tells us all he did was screech and whine...that she would be another half hour. We came back and he was done, sitting in a cage...she said that he peed 3 times on the floor and they even took him out and he would't go (he is 4 months). She sounded so putout, and then told me that he did not have yorkie hair, it was too coarse, and that I should never get his ears trimmed as they were "huge"
his ear has one point and the other is cut flat on top... She told me not to ever bother with a yorkie cut because it wouldn't work for him....My question is..should i find another groomer? and Bailey is a registered yorkie, does he not look like one?(these are pics after his trim)..can you tell he was pretty upset with me . hehe |
