My question is how do I know he is eating enough for him not to have another Hypoglycemic attack from not getting enough sugar? I am currently giving him about 2 tablespoons of food and he is eating about half of it. Does this sounds about right. I do this about 3 times a day and also give him some nutrical in the AM. He is currently 4 1/2 months old and weighs about 3 pounds. Thanks!
At 3 pounds he should be eating 3 tbl spoons per meal ( 1 tbls) per pound 3 times a day . You should free feed him leave the food available all day and nignt long as well as water . Eventually he will go to eat when he is hungry but always make sure he ate the above quantities to avoid hypoglycemic attack.
