I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss - you must be heartbroken. Neither Rowdy nor Rex have had any problems - Rex is due for his 3rd set next weekend - I will be nervous, I always am.
I would definitely talk with the vet to see if he/she has any ideas what might have happened.
Please know that it is not common and that you did nothing wrong. If you had not gotten the shots, your baby might have contracted parvo and died - it just happened, there's nothing you could have done.
