More often than not, I can't get Yoda to go around a pole (street sign pole or whatnot) the right way. He'll want to wander a bit on the leash, and go around the pole. I, of course, don't want him to go around the pole because sometimes I can't get the retractable leash around it easily. But yet, Yoda, being the stubborn one, won't 'come back' towards me so we can go around the pole easily. I have no idea if I am explaining this correctly, so bear with me.
Is there an easy way to teach them to come back to you and not go around the pole the 'wrong way'?
