I would certainly discuss your problems with a vet and see if there isn't anything that can help her stay calmer. Being this way, certainly can't be a pleasant way for her to live.

Also - socialization for her - may need to be done in a more controlled - calmer and slower way. I don't know how you're going to manage this, but it does sound like company gets her going.

But - anyway - perhaps a medication and a more controlled environment may help her.
