I've seen a lot of pictures on YT and on the web of yorkies 1 year or older. And everytime I saw these pictures all the yorkies had lighter fur color like silver, light golden, gray, white, or black.

Jeremiah is about 16 months now and he hasn't really changed in his fur color,he still looks like a puppy, plus he has a cotton hair texture. I know I really shouldn't be worrying, but I was just wondering. Do yorkies that have cotton hair take more time to change colors than a yorkie with a silky texture?
