I have started them on a gruel, although instead of the goats milk, I was using the replacer. I will go look for the other in the morning. I think with these guys it is better to let her see them now and then, but they are unbelievablely persistant, one was trying to nurse through the bars, so mom is buddled and with us right now. I was glad to figure it out, actully I didnt know till after the blood work, I just knew something wasnt right. Is there anything else I should know, my normal vet was out today, and her partner only suggested 1/4 tab of tums daily, so will the extra be ok???Thanks so much, I am fairly sure you will hear from me as, I am a total worry wart, and have been pestering my mentor and vet all the time...I would rather be safe than sorry. My nursing mom's get 1/2 tums am and pm and have never had a problem. Kimberly gave great advice, she has experience with this and won't steer you wrong.
