I never had a dog till my adult life the girls are my 7th & 8th. . I always have pairs. My last was a beloved mutt who was 15 when he passed. I never pictured myself as a Yorkie owner. My girls are both rescues from a wonderful lady I met thru Petfinders. I never got the one I wanted but she found me Lucy (I was not looking for a Yorkie) who at the young age of 8 months had her share of abuse. It was love at first sight both for me and my husband. Before Lucy was a year she called me about Ethel. Ethel was weaned too soon because she did not meet up to the breeders standard of a show dog, she is a runt. I think she is beautiful. I am hooked, I want another one but I feel guilty if it's not another rescue. I do not really know the personality of one that has not had her personality altered. What are they really like? |
Hi MiMi,
I am almost your neighbor, I live in Frankfort which is just south of Orland. I have 2 Yorkies myself Auggie & Roxy. Who just became the proud parents of 2 little girls and
2 little boys. So if you or any friends might be interested in a new baby, I've got 4 right down the road. I am also interested in the lady that helped you get your Little Ladies. I would like another girl but really can't spend a lot, but I will give her lots of Love. I have a 2 acres estate with lots of playroom and ofcoarse good friends. With my 2 Yorkies and my beautiful white Afghan Angel. Boy! if I could ever find a breeder of Afghans I would get another one in a heartbeat. They are so hard to find these days. So that's how I got started with Yorkies and have loved every minute with them for almost 3 yrs. now. So if you're still in touch with the Rescue Lady, Could you Hook a neighbor UP! Seriously though I am interested. and spread the word about my babies born on March 24, 2006.
Keep in touch!
