Again - please tell your friend that I noticed somewhat the same thing with my 8-week-old little pup - and, obviously, it was nothing to worry about.

If he is having soft stools, I'm pretty sure he's not having any problems. She should be able to tell if he's uncomfortable going to the bathroom.

Also - if, after a while, she notices no improvement - then take him to the vet......but, hopefully, she won't have to at all.
