No, but I do know that the chip can travel within the body if the chip is implanted during the rapid growth of puppyhood. This is why I wait until they are closer to around 8 months (for Yorkies, longer for larger breeds) to implant. The gauge needle they use isn't pretty, but on a more positive note, it's quick and goes right in between the shoulder blades. No biggie, as long as he can clot properly, I'd imagine you should have NO reactions to this foreign body. I checked w/ AVID and a few other companies for such reported incidenses and there are none.
