youre so lucky to have caught eclampsia...
you can let mom in tonight just to feed them NO MORE ...then take her out wrap her in a onezy with an ace bandage around it...the pups can be rather persistant getting at the teat...let her sleep with them if you like but only wrapped...if you dont keep her wrapped at night they will feed when they want, you cant let that happen!!!
you can let her nurse but keep it to about 3 times a day and very short feedings...NO MORE!! also give your mom 1/2 tums in am and at night every day for the next ten days...as well cottage cheese and goats milk.
if youve not begun weaning you need to now...start mixing your mush (ground like dust... dry dog food mixed runny with water or goats milk served a bit warmed) feeding them 3-4 times a day along with mom sparingly nursing...if you dont have goats milk...you can use baby rice cereal mixed with water and a bit of baby puree chicken or puppy canned food warm up as well a tad...
