Sometimes with very young puppies - the anal areas does seem to be protruding out somewhat. If your puppy is comfortable and going to the bathroom with no problems - perhaps, you can just wait a while and see if this settles back on it's own.
I did notice this somewhat with my new puppy also - but he is totally fine now. It turned to be no problem at all.
