I raise parrotlets (world's smallest parrots) and mine sit by attentively while I'm handfeeding and then lick their faces clean! The babies even go up to the Yorkies and beg to be fed. I recently added an adult to my bunch and was a little nervous, but she too does great with the birds. When they begin to fly the dogs do run after them, but they have never injured one. I have three Yorkies and all three are exceptionally good with the birds. |
