What kind of food are you feeding her? Although puppies pee and poo a lot, if you try higher quality food, they usually don't go potty as much. The cheaper foods have fillers which cause the pups to drink more water and thus, more pee. Cheaper foods also have more waste and so a dog will poo more. I have Rex (11 weeks old) on Solid Gold dry food and he is down to 2-3 poos per day.

I know it is so hard - I coudn't get Rowdy to go on his pee pads either and he would just tear them up too. But as soon as we got a doggie door, problem solved, and he started going outside pretty consistently. Rex already goes in and out the doggie door and goes potty outside "most of the time" - but he has a good role model. I do know though, that not everyone can have a doggie door - but I don't know what I would do without one!

Good luck - she will grow out of it - but those words don't help right now.....
