Did you get her from a petstore or breeder? If at a petstore than I think she could be used to pooping and peeing in a crate because they are always in a crate. If not ...was the crate big? Because so many people told me that if it big enough for them to pee or poop at one end then sleep at the other they will. A crate should be just big enough for them to lay and relax.
