I'm interested in a sling/snugglie sort of body carrier (I'm blanking on what they're called, for dogs!

Because I would use this type of thing primarily in the summer, and it gets soooo hot here, I was looking for something in a lightweight sort of mesh, that would be relatively cool. Also, since I would use this in, let's say, "street fair" type situations when I might want to walk the dog for awhile, then carry it for awhile, I'd prefer something that wasn't TOO difficult to wrestle the pup in and out of.
This item (offered in mesh) seems ideal for my needs... Could you advise me on how practical or actually useful this might/might not be?
