Thanks everyone. Man, I thought I was the ONLY one that was so attached to my little Yorkie. Wow! I am really glad that I found this site and I will study it and learn from all of you. I am in a hotel on vacation visiting my married daughter in Jackson MS. Sunday, I will be visiting her in-laws and they have a sweet lil Yorkie, Lilly, that they got when we got our Gizmo.. it will be a little hard. Today, my husband said that maybe in a little while he will consider another pup. I am really thinking about it. There is no way in the world I could ever find one anything like Gizzie. He was definitely a companion Yorkie. I think the "sweet little retired" man that we got him from was not what he seemed. I accept full responsibility though for not researching how to find a breeder. Anyway, Gizzie had an undershot bite, his ears were too big, and his coat had a bit of a wave. But, he loved to play catch. We had a bunch of little tennis balls around the house and he would throw them to us and in turn, he could catch like a pro. When he couldn't find any of his humans to play with, he would throw the ball against the wall and play catch. I don't care about finding the perfect looking Yorkie, but someday, I hope to find a smart and sweet lil guy.
