HI. I am new here, and don't know the ropes yet. My Chauncey was sick with coughing and throwing up. Antibiotics did not help. Finally, I left him at the vet's all day (to the tune of $300) and discovered that he has a "collapsing trachea", which, says the doc, is common in small breeds. We got some little pills that I give him when he starts to cough and it seems to really work well. He cannot wear a collar, only a harness.
