Hey, you are the first person I have seen from hawaii, we are moving there, yay!!!
Anyway you are in bonding time, but if you leave very strict instructions with the person caring for the puppy it should be fine, maybe they can not do too much damage in three days. It will probably be confusing for the pup though.
