WHAT? How do you know she doesn't want this? It sounds to me that clearly she does which is why she asked. I could be wrong too though.
Such a blanket statement got under my skin, sorry. You are always looking to teach your dog(s) something new and this little "trick" may be something that she just simply wants to do for her dog.
JUST BECAUSE YOU TEACH YOUR DOG TO BARK, DOESN'T MEAN HE CAN DO IT WHENEVER/WHEREVER. Correct him when he's out of line and praise him when he's right. Sheesh, we don't give our dogs OR ourselves enough credit in the ability to control our little ones appropriately.
