Thank you! Yes, bred from 2 standard AKC Yorkies. I own the female (or should I say she owns me
). My Mom has 3 females (one is the sister to mine). She and I both pay to use the same little stud. I called her last Memorial Day to tell her what happened in my litter and she said she was glad it was me because she would have had a heart attack and died. I had Tiah in my bedroom with low lighting and when I saw an odd color I was like "WHAT?!!!!?" I knew there was NO chance of her getting pregnant to anyone but that little championship bloodline male I took her to to breed with. Well, she started bearing down again and .... out came ANOTHER one! I went straight to the computer and found that it is a rare occurence do to a recessive gene (I believe my female is the carrier). I then researched the Yorkshire Terrier "ingredients" and found an exact match for their coloring.....the mustard colored Dandie Dinmont Terrier (one of 6 different breeds known in the make-up of the Yorkie). sorry if this was too much info
