some groomers just want to use the shavers - but if you go in and tell them exactly how long you want him to be maybe they'll do it for you - also - you can still have a shorter cut with the sides a bit longer ....I think a groomer called it 'Feathering' ?

Several months ago, you had a post where you mentioned some kind of tool that you used to kind of thin your girls hair. My new puppy, Daisy has a very thick puppy coat. She is 7 months old now. I am taking the two of them to the groomers next week and would like to have them trim around the leg area in the back. She is constantly wetting on those back legs when she goes out to the bathroom. Do you think I should try to do it myself? I am not really pleased with Copper's new cut. But I am afraid I would not do much better. I forgot how to put pictures in here. I will experiment and maybe put one of him with his old and new cut. Maybe you can help me know what to tell the groomer. Thanks, Ann
