I go onto a site called "Groomer to Gromer", and there they mentioned that they use human "antibacterial liquid soap" on dogs with red rashes, and it works!!!
One groomer particularly likes Dial with a scent. She used it, and the rash was gone when the dog came out of the bath.
I did not mark the thread, but the site makes for some interesting reading about grooming, salons, safety, etc.
