Xpens are great for giving them a larger area than a crate and can be purchased on ebay, petco, petsmart etc. Most members have the xpen with their crate inside along with pee pads and food. You can put a tarp under the xpen so if they have accidents it is not going through to the carpet. The xpen also keeps them away from outlets and other dangerous areas they could get in.
