Yup. I think we've pretty much decided that we won't. Of course, you can never say never and we're still fairly young but I don't like the idea of subscribing to other people's 'rules' and we both feel that it's something we're not ready for/don't want. I am seriously considering adopting though at some point in the distant future as I am very concerned about the AIDS situation in Africa. If we do adopt, we will adopt children orphaned by AIDS who have no secondary or community family to take care of them. I was adopted and I think there is a lot to be said for a family being more than blood.
Alot of people think we're being selfish but I think it's the reverse to be honest. My mother in law drops hints all the time but she has other children who can give her grandchildren if she wants them. Don't feel under pressure from anyone. It's your life
