and my 2 cents is this...if you go to a show wait until AFTER the dogs are done in the ring before you approach a show breeder to chat. Many are very focused before hand and don't like to be bothered right then. Most will respond well if you begin a conversation with a compliment about their dog...and it's usually not hard to come up with quite a few of those! Plus shows are just fun to go watch..
I would suggest getting on a waiting list at a reputable breeder NOW, and let them know what kind of time frame works for you. I will be glad to put you on mine for future litters if you'd like.
