I spoke with my regular vet(not the surgeon who recommended the sedation.) He is hesitant to give her anything. He is convinced that she only heard me and thats what riles her. He asked if I could video tape her to check out how she behaves when I am gone. I am going to try this on Friday. He says that if she is truly upset the whole time, then we can sedate her. I am hoping he is right. Thank you all for your support!
