I am trying to litter box train Odie, but oh watch out. This is probably one of the hardest things to do. Even though I am trying on this he still loves to pee on anything, esp. anything soft such as carpet. I cannot wait until I get him neutered. I dread doing this but at the same time I don't. Odie is papered so that is one of the things that keeps holding me back, but there is nothing worse than pee & poo all over your house. I am going to try the back yard once it has sod in it and the obedience teacher I have spoken with thinks this will be the best thing. She also said that the other people she has come across that have tried litter box training have not had much luck with it. I just can't wait for the backyard. So I hope this helps you. It may be that going in a litter box is too unnatural for them. Who knows.
