I'm having a lot of the same issues with my 6 month old female Yorkie. She will pee and poo outside, but she doesn't seem to have any idea that she isn't suppose to do it inside also. The good news is, I'm not the only one having this problem. I thought it was me and that I just didn't know how to potty train a dog (although I have 3 other dogs, not yorkies, that are potty trained)..
She is so good with everything else and is smart as a whip. But we can be playing and she will just squat a pee right in front of me!!!!!!!
Will there ever be a day that she is allowed on the carpet? big sigh...
I'm thinking about litter training. Has anyone had any luck on that?
