Hi all! I still have a couple of months before Tank and Buckeye hit neutering age, but I want to interview the vets in the area and decide where I would like to do it and try to schedule it for when they are around 6 months old. I like my vet right now but he's like 85 years old and his facility isn't very clean. But he works with all of the small dogs in town so I have mixed emotions about him. Thus the interview, price comparison, etc.

So my question is what shoudl I be asking about? I knwo there are certain kinds of anestesia that you should use on small dogs, but what are they? Is there anything else I should be asking about? Please share your experiences and what you wish you would have known.
