When my baby got her shots, I rubbed her injection site in circular motions and it helps the medicine to not form a knot like they do sometimes. But, you have to do this as soon as he/she gets the shot. If you wait too long it will get sore and will only make him/her cry. If your baby is sore try this and see if it helps. I take a damp washcloth and heat it in the microwave to get it really warm (not too hot) and hold it on the injection site. When the washcloth cools off do it again for several times and it will help take the soreness out. Hopes this helps and tomorrow everything should be much better.
