 Conditioner
In your local pet store (or browse to see what people use), you should be able to find conditioners that you can spray on their hair before you brush.
I've seen several products people have mentioned here that are excellent but they're harder to get (i.e. Ice on Ice). The one I use right now is Earthbound, Vanilla & Almond. It has a very strong sweet vanilla smell.
