I got Nelly from my neighbours sister who is not the breeder. She had to come 5 hours so I did not get to see where she was born or anything but the lady who brought her picked her up from the breeder who I think well I do not know what she is. I did not hear of BYB or puppymills before I came to this site. I do know that my neighbours sister did pick her up at the breeders home which is on a farm she has gotten other dogs from them before but I do not think they are license breeders. They breed yorkie purebred's, purebred s**tsu's (I know spelling is off) and maltese's purebred's then they breed the mixes. The breeder had lend her stud to someone that had a poodle and that is how Nelly came about. I guess the poodle breeder did not pay with money, instead she gave the lady who owned the stud Nelly. The breeder did not want to start another breed with yorkipoo's so she sold Nelly instead (lucky for me). I know you should not support people who breed this way, but the lady that picked her up said that the conditions were good and that the puppies were in her house, and for her to sell Nelly instead of breeding another mix I guess it does say something for her doesn't it? Can some of these breeders actually care about the dogs? I did get a year guarantee on Nelly and they do want to know how the puppies are doing after they leave them and send updated pictures? What do you guys think? Well to answer your question, yes she is definitely a mixed. Sorry so long but I just wanted some opinions on the breeder of Nelly do your think they are reputable, BYB or puppymillers?
