Oops! I have been feeding rice and browned hamburger for years when I needed to put weight on a show dog. I used it with my afghan hound, standard poodle and parson russell terrier with no problem but they are big sturdy dogs. My yorkie bitch is so thin and so picky that I cooked it for her last week. I will stop feeding it to her immediately. I don't want to do her harm. Do you know what it does to their system?
