The pup is a boy, and I will be posting pictures up soon, when I get my camera back from my friend. How come it seems like there is soo many different kinds of sickness a yorkie can have... makes me kind of scared. I just want this pup to live a healthy life. Ive been reading around the In Memory of..(R.I.P) forums, and see that some pups die within a month. Thats like my worst nightmare.
Plus how would I know if a vet is good? Ive found a couple around my house, but I dont which one to bring it to. I'd like to bring the pup to the vet right away after I get it.

Hello and welcome to yorkietalk!
Congrats on your first furson! You are just going to love this breed! I'm a little partial but my baby is just the greatest!
Another thing to ask the breeder is... what food he may be on, some yorkies can be very picky and if the breeder has him on a good food and he is eating it you may want to stick to it. I feed Kloey "Royal Canin for Yorkshire Terriers" and I also give her Eukanuba wet food or some call it soft food, but I have her on a feeding schedule where I feed her 2 times a day and this seems to work really well for her.
If the breeder is good, she will already have all this info down for you, hopefully she gives you a goody bag!
Do you have a name picked out yet? This is so exciting for you and your G/F I bet! I just love puppies, but beware, they tend to be hard to potty train, but if your consecutive with his training, it will be a breeze!
Good luck and please keep us updated!
