 Legg Calve Perthes Disease
I am new to this site so please bear with me. I have an 8 month old adorable male Yorkie who has recently been diagnosed with Legg Perthes Disease. To those of you out there that have encountered this problem can you please advise....Cody is scheduled for surgery on April 20th--our general vet who we have the utmost confidence in is performing the procedure. Should Cody be having his surgery done by an Orthopedic Specialist?? I want the best for him but don't know if a specialist is necessary. What can I expect following the surgery?? Thanks for your help, we are heart saddened to have to put him through this.. |
