Good luck with the trainer, I have never used one, so be sure to let us know how it goes. To keep Bailey from thinking that he could just toilet anywhere in the house, we blocked off alot of the house when we brought him home. Slowly as he becomes more trained we have been opening up his allowed space a little more. We keep a baby gate leading to the bedrooms however as with my kids, they always have little gadgets and jiggers laying around on their floors, and we want to keep Bailey safe. We also purchased some spray that nutrilized scent on furniture and floors so the dog can no longer smell his privious "accidents" , therefore not be tempted to go there. Hope this helps, good luck to you and your little furbaby.
