I have a huge Alaskan Malamute in my backyard; however, the Yorkies have a separate side yard. Although the Malamute is very good with the Yorkies, I don't feel comfortable leaving them all together. Recently, I just brought home a new Yorkie and my Malamute is being too protective. He doesn't want my other Yorkies close to the baby and growls at them
. All play is supervised - it's just to easy to accidently hurt a small dog.
