Another update: Gypsy is getting a throat swab tomorrow. She has to be put to sleep for a very short time for them to do it. I am worried. They want to do a culture.
The specialist looked at the xrays and said not to worry so much about the heart at this time. Not enlarged enough to be concerned about at this time. From research I have done on line kennel cough can cause it.
I take her in at 9 am and pick her up at 1. unfortunetly after I get her home I have to leave for work to be there at 2. She will have to be alone for about 3 hrs. I hate it but can not help it. The vet said it should not be a problem but again i worry.
