No, I'm not a dog groomer persay, but I do grrom Kloey myself and now I have been doing there pug, I will say that when he is shaved he looks so good, I use the clippers and put a gaurd on it, but when he is done he is soft and just looks so great, but it does take about 1 1/2 hours to shave him, it's not easy, but he is a good dog and sits pretty still for me.
