As far as a counter? They are on my bathroom counter when I blow dry them. Otherwise, I keep them off the tables. PERSONALLY, I think that it's a bad habit. I'd hate for someone to come over to my house and see a dog laying on my dining room table...*HINT FOR REBEL!!!* Some that aren't great dog lovers may see this as unsanitary.
